Our Story
A Passion for Engineering Since Day One
Founded in Ankara in 1985, Star Asansör has grown by putting customer satisfaction and the safety of life and property at the center of every decision. What started as a small workshop has become an engineering company serving all of Turkey and international markets from our Ankara and Istanbul offices.
From electric and hydraulic elevators to boutique projects requiring custom engineering, we take an end-to-end approach spanning manufacturing, installation, maintenance and modernization.

1985
Star Asansör was founded in Ankara.
1988
Received Certificate of Compliance with Turkish Standards.
1996
Tested and put into service our first full-automatic elevator.
1998
Became the first company in Turkey to use a planetary gear motor group in elevators.
2001
Started insuring all elevators we maintain and their users, and made it a company principle.
2002
Started using remote-access elevator control systems for the first time.
2003
Obtained our first ISO 9001:2000 certificate.
2004
Obtained CE certification from LIFTINSTITUUT (95/16/EC Lift Directive Annex XIII Module H and TS-EN-ISO 9001:2000).
2005
Started using elevator multimedia systems for the first time.
